Binance CEO, Chengpeng Zhao think of 2018 as the “correction year” and sees an optimistic future for the industry. He was speaking in an interview with Bloomberg published on December 19.
He said, “it’s a correction year” while adding “price is a very strong attraction” for speculators, and the industry will experience growth as “real use” product will emerge leading to a widespread cryptocurrency adoption.
Answering to effect on Binace due to this correction, Zhao said, Binace has already launched one fiat exchange and look forward to launching two or three more such platforms “in next month or so” and are aiming for ten in future. Adding to he noted, “none of our plans changed, we are still pushing forward very aggressively.”
Responding to the regulatory status, he asserted that crypto industry needs, “clarity, there is still too much uncertainty in many countries in the world.” specifying this point he highlighted the need for regulation of the crypto industry as it “promotes innovation, and not things that just totally hamper [it].” He concluded by saying that he is still “very confident in the industry.”
Recently, Binance also expanded their services through initiatives such as Binance Labs, which aims to nurture innovation in this market. It also announced the first batch of blockchain project a few days ago.
Today, taking another step forward the charity is of exchange Binance Charity Foundation launched blockchain supported the campaign for the youth of Malta. It plans to support disadvantageous children and ill patients in Gaza and Malta.
