AT&T, one of the topmost U.S. telecom company has announced the creation of a suit of blockchain solutions with a plan to work together with Microsoft and IBM, as per a press release from the company on September 26.
The blockchain solutions of AT&T is going to collaborate with the Microsoft Azure’s blockchain technology and IBM Blockchain Platform for data recording with an prospect for companies enterprise customers to “bring additional transparency and accountability to even the most complex supply chains.”
It aims to develop the digitization of enterprise customer’s business process for the telecom giant and the suite can also be utilized by industries like healthcare, retail and manufacturing.
Vice president of AT&T, Andy Daudelin said in the press release that blockchain technology is “transforming the way many companies conduct business,” and “Blockchain improves security and enables better management of transactions through complex processes.”
Last August, Azure, Microsoft’s cloud platform announced a new Ethereum (ETH) proof-of-authority (PoA) algorithm that will allow a “more efficient” mode of creating decentralized applications (DApps).
Also IBM in the same month along with Danish transport and logistic company Marsk, had successfully launched blockchain solution which included 154 shipping events and 94 organizations.
