The controversy surrounding the upcoming Bitcoin Cash (BCH) hard fork is heating up and struck a personal note when Craig Wright, one of the best-known people in the community evidently called another influencer of the community Roger Ver his “enemy.”
The BCH hard fork is scheduled for November 15, will see BCH split into two rival chain, favored by Ver, Bitcoin Cash ABC and Bitcoin Cash SV, supported by Wright’s nChain.
The split comes as both Ver and Wright along with other influential figures of BCH community disagreeing over the future of the coin, as these disagreements are growing and coming to public platforms as the fork is approaching.
On November 8, Ver released what appeared to be a screenshot of the email sent by Wright to him between a video about this “thought” on the upcoming hard fork.
The alleged email, Wright claims that Ver “hates Bitcoin” and termed him as his “enemy,” before closing it with a vague threat.
He writes, “I AM Satoshi,” repeating the controversy around the creator of Bitcoin itself. As the letter continues, it says, “Have a nice life. You will now discover me when pissed off.”
As of now, Wright has not commented on the validity of the controversial mail leaving the space for speculations.
Giving his opinion on the feud with Ver, Ray[Redacted] an analyst highlighted further accusations by Wright that Ver and Bitmain CEO Jihan Wu, both support ABC and wanted to promote child pornographic content.
On Thursday, Wright wrote on Twitter, “This is the ONLY real use case they have and it is not happening!”
As of press time on November 9, the controversy is no near to resolution. And BCH/USD has plummeted more than top 10 leading cryptocurrencies, losing around 4.8% on trade and settling nearly $570.
